CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify proper clinician orders for procedures
• Obtain complete clinical history, gather examination data, and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media
• Ensure proper patient identification and right and left marker usage
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Assist other technologists in all modalities when needed
• Observe patient condition and evaluate situations when physician intervention is necessary
• Verify correct patient identity using 2 unique identifiers prior to performing a procedure
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort are accommodated
• Organize schedule, time, and priorities to accomplish required activities within designated time frames

Requirements:

• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
• ARRT Radiography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
