Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients accurately and comfortably for scans, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings as needed to achieve high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and any issues encountered during procedures.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal scanner performance and patient safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and best practices in computed tomography.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with preference given to those with CT experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods.
