About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Assembler to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for performing the final assembly of large power transformers, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tanks, covers, radiators, conservators, and other parts for final assembly.
  • Perform the final assembly of the transformer following technical standards.
  • Prepare the transformer for the testing process and disassemble accessories post-testing for shipping.
  • Conduct quality inspections and document processes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical instructions for assembly and disassembly procedures.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in the assembly process for large equipment.
  • Experience operating cranes and the ability to obtain a Crane operation certification.
  • Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate leadership skills to eventually become a trainer/mentor for new hires in the future.
