Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including cardiac catheters, angioplasty balloons, and stent delivery systems.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies during procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a cardiac catheterization technologist or related field.
  • Scrub and circulate skills required; monitor and EKG skills preferred.
  • Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, Rotablader, paracentesis, and hemodynamic monitoring experience required.
  • Watchman procedures, septal closure, pacemaker/defib device placement, TAVI/TAVR procedure experience preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working days, with occasional weekend and on-call requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
