Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions using advanced imaging techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or related field.
  • Scrub and circulate skills required; monitor and EKG skills preferred.
  • Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and left/right heart catheterization.
  • Watchman procedures, septal closure, pacemaker/defib device placement, and TAVI/TAVR procedure experience preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Days shift with occasional weekend and on-call requirements.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 or 40h contract.
  • Scrub color: any (no reddish orange permitted).
  • Charting: EPIC.
