We are currently seeking a motivated and empathetic Resident Care Assistant to play a vital role in our residents' daily lives.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, eating, and mobility.
  • Support residents in instrumental activities of daily living including telephone use, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents and maintain a secure living environment.
  • Document and track essential data regarding resident health and well-being.
  • Engage in life enrichment activities with residents, collaborating with Life Enrichment staff.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and welcoming home for residents.
  • Handle various administrative tasks such as monitoring supplies and managing paperwork.
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

- High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred:

- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar environments

- Familiarity with working with individuals with dementia or older adults

- Knowledge of the healthcare field

- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a desire to pursue CNA certification and advance in the healthcare sector
