Job Description:

Senior Interior Designer - Healthcare

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design efforts for all stages of a project, including leadership with the client, contractors, and internal team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design efforts for all stages of a project, including leadership with the client, contractors, and internal team.
  2. Assist in management of projects through developing project scope, schedules, job production, quality, and fee management.
  3. Lead programming, conceptualization, development, and integration of strategic design solutions.
  4. Consult with manufacturers, research, and evaluate materials.
  5. Document architectural drawings.
  6. Assist in construction administration, including responding to RFI's, preparing sketches and addendums (CCD's), and visiting the construction site to gather information and/or prepare a punch list.
  7. Oversee the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive design, supervise preparation of drawings for all project phases, and ensure guidelines, quality control, standards, and details.
  8. Lead all phases of the design process, including programming and developing workplace standards.
  9. Mentor junior staff and participate in performance coaching.
  10. Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process as requested.

Your Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, with experience in the Healthcare sector preferred.
  • LEED AP preferred, with Architectural or Interior Design registration required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign programs.
