Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional imaging services.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Computed Tomography procedures using General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems according to established operating procedures, clinical protocols, and imaging techniques.
- Coordinate the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
- Perform Quality Assurance Tests on CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and equipment performance.
- Obtain patient history and other relevant clinical information; document all patient information on appropriate forms in preparation for review and dictation by a radiologist.
- Starts IVs using appropriate technique, prepares and administers contrast material, and monitors patient condition during the CT procedure.
- 12-24 months experience in radiology - Graduate of Radiologic Technology program - 2 hours of stroke education/year.
- Knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures - Able to perform all routine CT procedures - Good oral & written communication skills - Computer competent.
- ARRT Registry (RT) - IDNS License - CPR - IV Certification within 3 months of date of hire CT Registration within 1 year of date of hire.
The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
