We are seeking a skilled Digital X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing Computed Tomography procedures utilizing General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems.
About the Role:
- Performs computerized post-processing of images using reconstruction software appropriate to the pathology or region of interest under investigation.
- Addresses minor customer complaints, resolves issues in a timely manner, and refers difficult complaints or sensitive issues to higher authority.
- Coordinates the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12-24 months of experience in radiology.
- A graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
- Knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures.
- Able to perform all routine CT procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer competency.
- ARRT Registry (RT) certification.
- IDNS License.
- CPR certification.
- IV Certification within 3 months of date of hire.
