We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to become part of our team. Position Overview:

As an SLPA contracted through Soliant Education, you will operate under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist students with their speech and language requirements. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the provision of therapy services, executing treatment plans, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the speech-language program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Therapy Sessions: Support the delivery of speech and language therapy to students as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Execute Treatment Plans: Adhere to and implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising SLP.
  • Track Progress: Maintain accurate and current documentation of student progress.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work in close partnership with the supervising SLP, educators, and other school personnel to promote student development and address emerging needs.
  • Engage with Students: Create a supportive and motivating environment to assist students in reaching their communication objectives.
  • Support Assessments: Aid in conducting assessments and collecting data necessary for student evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related discipline.
  • Certification: Valid SLPA license or certification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational environment or working with children is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a capacity to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
