CRNA Opportunity in Northern Iowa

We are seeking a certified CRNA to join our hospital-based practice in Mason City, IA.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent employed position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Requires national certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
  • Requires Registered Nurse and (ARNP) certification, as well as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License to work in the state of Iowa.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) are required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of various types of equipment and functions in the realm of clinical acuity to diagnostic performance of various laboratory tests.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, which positively promotes the image of the medical center.
  • Actively participates and represents Mercy Medical Center in professional and community organizations.
  • Must have a general working knowledge of computers and department-specific software (i.e. Healthstream, internet, etc.).
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of the health system.
