Job Opportunity

Creative Image Learning Center seeks an Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced educator to lead our pre-school classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging activities that align with our curriculum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing educational programs, leading by example, and encouraging teaching team success. They will also plan individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth among children.

In addition, they will maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences. They will ensure all center policies and state regulations are met, as well as maintaining a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement educational programs based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Lead by example, encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
  • Plan individual and group activities to actively engage children and promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
  • Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment, including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
  • Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A CDA, TCC, or a degree in Early Childhood Education or working towards one.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • A letter from Bright from the Start concerning the live fingerprint scan background check, less than 12 months old.
  • The ability to complete weekly lesson plans.
  • Familiarity with all rules and regulations from Bright from the Start.
  • Familiarity with Quality Rated.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a state-licensed child care facility.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
