Position Overview

As a Business Execution Consultant at Mindlane, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing risks associated with Trade Finance transactions. Your expertise will be essential in identifying potential heightened risk activities and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of Trade Finance transactions to pinpoint significant risk activities based on established red flags; assess the associated risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures as necessary.
  • Analyze extensive datasets in Microsoft Excel to detect risks influenced by various factors, including industry types, geographical locations of transaction parties, and the nature of goods involved.
  • Collaborate with technology partners, mid-level management, and cross-functional teams to devise innovative strategies and tools that enhance the review process.
  • Draft comprehensive observations and risk assessments that provide business partners with insights into customer behavior and risk management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Threat Finance for junior team members.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management, business controls, compliance, or related fields, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, or education.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial crime risks and Trade Finance products.
  • Proven ability to assess risks and communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk control.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage large and complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated capability to foster strong partnerships across various business units.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CAMS or AML/Sanctions credentials, are preferred.

This position requires a commitment to a structured work schedule, with initial onsite training followed by a hybrid work arrangement.
