Overnight Shelter Monitor

**Job Summary**
RH Community Builders is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Shelter Monitor to join our team at the Madera BHBH Program. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct supervision of clients, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents.
- Model appropriate behavior and promote compliance with program rules and regulations.
- Conduct daily routine care and supervision, including monitoring grounds for safety concerns.
- Pass out client meals and supplies, and prepare coffee for clients.
- Engage with clients to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Conduct bag checks for all clients entering the facility, adhering to RHCB bag check policy.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to assist with de-escalation of situations, prioritizing staff and client safety.
- Coordinate with Security Contractor for services as needed.
- Complete support documentation and daily shift reports.
- Embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of Elevate Community Services.
**Requirements:**
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation methods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
