Our Air Force and Space Division is recruiting highly talented candidates to support a contract that provides full life cycle support to the United States Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Launch Systems Enterprise Directorates National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program.
We assist the Air Force by supporting a multitude of areas, including systems engineering and integration, acquisition and program management support, mission integration management, system safety and environmental engineering, systems security and information assurance, launch schedule and risk management, certification of new entrant launch vehicles.
We're seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Acquisition Program Strategist to join our team in the El Segundo, CA area.
Responsibilities:- Develop, technically assess, and update program and project deliverables and documentation, including contract deliverables.
- Create draft government acquisition strategies, requests for proposals (RFPs), and supporting documentation for government review as required.
- Assist in all aspects of government acquisition processes, contract business support, and contract analysis.
- Document, update, and make recommendations for contract document submittals.
- Products include but are not limited to the following:
- Acquisition strategy plans, documents, and briefings
- Sole source justification and approval (J&A) memoranda
- Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Draft performance work statement (PWS)
- Work breakdown structure summary (WBS), contract data requirements lists (CDRLs), incentive plans, financing plans, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria
- Analyses and recommendations for program reporting, development of program and project briefings, documentation configuration/control, action tracking, and coordination of documentation review process.
- Integrate program/project tasks and provide technical assessment, evaluation, and recommendations for post-RFP release activities, to include sole source fact finding, proposal technical evaluations, and negotiations; and competitive source selection specialized support.
- Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts
- 9 years of experience in PM/Acquisition/Contracting in relevant fields
- 2 years of NSSL, Launch/Range, DoD, or NASA or industry-specific experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $103,800-$172,700.
