Our optical division capitalizes on Ametek's proficiency in optical design, assembly, and large-scale manufacturing of high-precision optical components and systems for sectors such as aerospace, defense, healthcare, and industrial markets.

Responsibilities include performing calibration and ensuring optimal functionality of specialized equipment and custom optical assessments.
Set up and dismantle diverse testing configurations.
Execute software analysis procedures on test data and evaluate results as either successful or unsuccessful.
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace by adhering to cleaning protocols and inventory management.
Conduct maintenance and preventative upkeep on testing apparatus and tools.
Collaborate with engineering teams to devise testing methodologies for new products.

Qualifications include an associate degree in a relevant technical discipline along with 5 years of pertinent experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of related experience.
Familiarity with optics and optical evaluation is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, are essential.
