Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team at Big Y. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our bakery department operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare, weigh, finish, slice, price, package, and stock product in a timely and accurate manner.
- Department Maintenance: Maintain proper department conditions and supplies, including shelves, cases, sales floors, backrooms, freezers, and coolers.
- Equipment Operation: Operate, clean, and reassemble equipment and machinery as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Previous Retail Experience: Preferred.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
