We are currently looking for a dedicated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Quality Management Engineer. This pivotal role involves overseeing external audit management, enhancing internal audit processes, conducting quality tool research, and supporting sustainability initiatives. The position will report directly to the Director of Global Quality and is based at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global divisions to establish, enhance, and sustain an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Implement global QMS standards and processes, including auditing and corrective action initiatives across manufacturing sites.
  • Assist process owners and all Neapco locations in adhering to ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA, and Customer Specific Requirements.
  • Oversee the Internal Audit program, ensuring its efficiency and the effective implementation of corrective actions.
  • Develop and mentor internal auditors to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
  • Conduct gap assessments to ensure compliance with established system requirements.
  • Engage in various projects and assignments as directed by management, including quality issue support and sustainability efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management, specifically in developing Management Systems within the automotive or safety-critical industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
  • Experience with audits and certifications in ISO, IATF, VDA, and automotive core tools; Lead Auditor qualification for IATF VDA 6.3 is preferred.
  • ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQA, and/or CMQ/OE are advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of statistics, including process capability and measurement system validation.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently under time constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams, influencing positive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
