Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Cannabis Retail Specialist to enhance our Dispensary team in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and caregivers. Your responsibilities will include verifying patient information, managing orders, processing payments, and utilizing our point-of-sale system effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authenticate patients and caregivers using the electronic verification system.
  • Prepare and package orders for patients.
  • Handle payment transactions efficiently.
  • Utilize the point-of-sale system for sales processing.
  • Maintain precise records of transactions and patient data.
  • Address inquiries from patients and caregivers regarding our cannabis offerings.
  • Comply with Hazard Communication policies and procedures.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures set by CULTA.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with company policies.
  • Inspect incoming cannabis products for quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards regarding product identity and quality.
  • Conduct sales transactions and manage cash handling procedures.
  • Assist in physical inventory assessments.
  • Report any incidents of dispensing errors or product discrepancies to management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and pass all necessary background checks.
  • Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and adaptable to new software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
