Small Engine Mechanic

Smith Turf & Irrigation LLC is seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of small engine lawn care equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of small engine equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes and filter replacements
- Diagnose and identify malfunctions
- Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn out parts
- Complete documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on gasoline and diesel engines
- Certifications from STIHL, Kohler, Toro, Exmark, Briggs and Stratton are a plus
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic problems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
