Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at Triumph Financial. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, coding and processing invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier invoices, including coding and processing invoices
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Manage Accounts Payable staff responsible for performing the accounts payable function
  • Comply with Accounts Payable procedures and ensure proper accounting practices
  • Manage Accounts Payable payment processing and review payments for accuracy
  • Prepare monthly accruals and adjustments for the accounting cycle
  • Manage coding for Business Assets and Prepaid Expense items
  • Ensure all account aging issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
  • Provide detailed account variance analysis
  • Assist with the development of budgets and annual 1099 processes
  • Process Quarterly Federal, State, Sales and Use Tax payments
  • Assist with accounting department audit requests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience with processing invoices using an accounts payable module
  • 2-3 years' experience with general ledger, month-end close functions, reconciliations, etc., preferred
  • Experience utilizing Workday Financials, including Accounts Payable functionality
  • Management or supervisory experience, preferred
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of general accrual accounting procedures and an understanding of relevant computer programs
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, plan and problem solve
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
