Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Searchlogic Recruiting, LLC. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our real estate development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete financial close and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly property management financial statements and reports for stakeholders
  • Manage job costing for development projects and review construction budgets
  • Ensure compliance with capitalization policies and manage construction invoices
  • Prepare loan draw packages and periodic loan compliance reports
  • Calculate capital calls and distributions to partners
  • Assist with annual operating budget preparation and CAM reconciliations

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial real estate investment and development
  • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, partner capital structures, and IRRs
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in MRI and Yardi accounting software a plus
