Job Summary

Modernistic Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for responding to residential and commercial properties affected by water or fire damage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emergency service response and water extraction
  • Light demolition, use of hand tools and power tools, and placement of drying equipment
  • Perform mitigation services to IICRC standards
  • Communicate and provide detailed notes on job progress daily
  • Follow documentation procedures/requirements (paper & electronic)
  • Follow all safety practices and industry standards at facility and job sites
  • Keep vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Criminal background check and drug screen
  • Willingness to learn the entire restoration process
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as needed (time-and-a-half / bonuses)
  • 1-2 years experience with water, mold, or fire remediation preferred (not required)
  • Restoration/construction general knowledge or carpentry experience preferred (not required)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly, honest, hardworking, and dependable
  • Reliable transportation
