About the Organization: Disability Solutions is a leading provider of transportation services, and the Area Mech Fleet Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet.

The Area Mech Fleet Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining our steam trains to provide comfortable and safe transportation for our guests. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art shop equipped with top-notch tools, excellent ventilation, and shaded areas to enhance the working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on steam trains
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers
  • Working in elevated platforms and confined spaces
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with steam locomotives and passenger cars
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with railroad track repair
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in office software and mobile devices
