Job Title: Assistant Athletic Trainer

Wilmington College, a private institution in Ohio, invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The successful candidate will assist with team medical coverage, athletic training clinic supervision, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with team medical coverage and athletic training clinic supervision
  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes
  • Work directly with coaching staff and athletes of assigned teams
  • Supervise the AT Clinic during operation
  • Maintain appointment schedules for student-athletes
  • Complete and maintain medical record keeping
  • Assist with maintaining pre-participation paperwork and physicals
  • Complete concussion baseline testing
  • Monitor inventory of supplies
  • Manage the schedule of required AT coverage of practices and events
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze situations and develop solutions
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours
  • Ability to foster positive internal and external public relations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience as a student-athlete
  • Strength and conditioning certification
