**Overview**

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Network Performance and Monitoring Engineer to join our team for the HUD contract. This position will be a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US.

**Responsibilities**

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for gathering information about company products, investigating technical capabilities, and staying up-to-date with hardware and software developments. You will generate quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods.

You will translate high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, working closely with other engineering disciplines to develop detailed implementation requirements. Your expertise will also include establishing and coordinating development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development.

In addition, you will design interfaces and bring network and system elements together to ensure seamless integration. You will assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, providing customer liaison and support for business development activities.

  • Plan, design, and install equipment, utilizing knowledge of engineering, programming, sophisticated instruments, and computers.
  • Participate in system conceptual design and documentation of design concepts.
  • Install new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
  • Design, create, and build network services, equipment, and devices.
  • Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning.
  • Review test plans/procedures and ensure they meet contractual requirements, participating in testing to validate requirements.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience required. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
