Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Injection Equipment to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our injection equipment, ensuring high-quality production output that meets customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and accurate record-keeping.
  • Perform quality assurance tests using measuring devices and basic math skills, and enter resultant data into the computer system.
  • Understand start-up and shut-down procedures to minimize downtime and equipment wear and tear.
  • Ensure proper and safe operational conditions of all production and related equipment.
  • Improve production equipment, utilities, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Participate in quality training and good manufacturing practice meetings to assist in continuous improvement of plant operations.
  • Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate necessary elements following a problem or project.
  • Be available for overtime when required and cover for vacation.
  • Operate a forklift as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment/procedures.
  • Basic knowledge in electricity and control.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to coordinate movements quickly and accurately in a high-output production area.
  • Must be willing to accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Manager.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Travel 0%.

Work Environment
