Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing, and making advanced repairs on equipment at customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel engines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
• Work with a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet customer expectations

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanic work with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Competitive hourly wage range: $25.72-$27.72
