Mobile Mechanic

Gateway Industrial Power is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team in Franksville, WI. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on Spotter Trucks and other medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
• Keep work truck clean and safe
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty vehicles
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Flexibility to meet changing demands

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (preferred)
• 2+ years' experience as a Truck Technician or similar position (preferred)
• Cummins Certified (preferred)
