We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Commons Club. As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service to our customers by offering timely, efficient, and knowledgeable service.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn and retain food and beverage knowledge to provide accurate information to guests.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Notify the line chef of any dishes that are not properly prepared.
- Use excellent communication skills with guests and staff to ensure seamless service.
- Perform side work duties daily and other duties as assigned.
- Must be physically present at work to perform all functions required of the position.
- Execute fabulous guest service by being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
- Prepare basic beverages such as coffee, water, and iced tea.
- Enthusiastically describe details of food dishes and beverages at time of delivery to guests.
- Be a team player and work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure excellent service.
- Lift and carry 50 lbs, carry and balance plates, and kegs as necessary.
- Stand for periods of 8-10 hours.
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
- Bend, squat, and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties.
- Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, smoke, and sound.
