POSITION SUMMARY
As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, which includes portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately. Your role will involve preparing and cooking food according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. You will also prepare cold dishes and operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.

It is essential to test foods to ensure they are cooked to perfection and monitor food quality throughout the preparation process. You will set up and break down your workstation efficiently and serve food in appropriate portions. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial; you will wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment regularly.

In addition, you will take customer orders, input them into the system, and handle payment transactions. Communication is key, as you will relay any special meal requirements, allergies, or dietary needs to the kitchen staff. Your responsibilities will also include providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas, which encompasses busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests.

At the end of your shift, you will count the cash bank, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure the bank. You will be expected to complete restaurant opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies, cleaning all equipment and areas, and managing food deliveries.

Adhering to all company policies and safety procedures is mandatory. You will report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management and complete safety training as required. Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information is essential.

Building positive working relationships with colleagues is important; you will support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns. You will ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Lastly, you will be required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
