As a key member of the Kohler Services Walk-in-Bath and Shower business, this individual will be responsible for achieving high-quality installations of KOHLER brand products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and perform plumbing work related to Kohler Services shower and walk-in bath products, including water heater additions or replacements.
  • Ensure accurate suitability of proposed work area prior to demolition or start of work, identifying visible defects that may prevent achieving KOHLER's expected installation standards.
  • Confirm details of proposed installation with customer prior to start, using a confirmation form to verify job details.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with all applicable codes and perform testing to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area, including outside customer homes and company vehicles, during the workday.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including reviewing warranty information, demonstrating product usage, and collecting final payment.
  • Timely report and update CRM as directed by the Supervisor - Installer.
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work independently and provide technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business and product installation objectives.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Plumber License in State of Minnesota
  • Proven experience as Journeyman Plumber
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Five plus years of bathroom remodeling or installation experience, with experience in bathroom installation preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs and stand for long periods
  • Ability to operate company vehicle (satisfactory MVR required)
  • Travel Approximately 25% Overnight (may vary depending on job site locations)
