Role Summary:

As a Web Application Developer at Eclipse Mining Technologies, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and sustaining user interfaces and data integrations, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our platform users.

Your contributions will be vital in guiding an Agile Scrum team to create cutting-edge web applications tailored for the mining sector.

Collaboration is key; you will engage with both the web development team and various non-web teams to identify optimal solutions for the efficient development of our web-based platform and its integrated tools utilizing data from the SourceOne system.

Your responsibilities will encompass the development of new features, components, and functionalities for both current and upcoming products, alongside the maintenance of existing offerings.

Utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of Computer Science, you will effectively communicate and strategize with all product teams to ensure the successful and seamless development of our products.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement both front-end and back-end solutions for web applications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to enhance interface aesthetics.
  • Engage in architecture, design, documentation, development, debugging, and deployment activities while addressing security, cross-browser, and cross-platform considerations.
  • Work alongside product managers, user experience teams, and non-web developers to create web applications for both new and existing software.
  • Establish protocols and APIs between system components.
  • Partner with QA teams to deliver high-quality, stable, and secure software solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Solid background in web development (REST, etc.) with proficiency in React.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with the HTTP protocol.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Proficiency in developing web applications for mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), VMs (VMWare, KVM, etc.), and OpenStack.
  • Understanding of Big Data and Data Science (Arrow, Spark, Torch, Tensorflow, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Experience with Python programming (Django, Flask, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development tools (Jira, Git).
  • Experience with WASM.
  • Ability to collaborate with native-services teams to integrate web applications with native APIs and database design.
