Job Summary

SP+ is seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fleet services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections and quality repairs on all assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain technical competency on assigned equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure all maintenance duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs offered by the company.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an approved program at a technical school a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician preferred.
  • Possess or willing to obtain all applicable ASE certifications.
  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License required, with Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 or more.
  • DOT Medical Card required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
