Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position involves directing all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice and federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of patient-specific development and cultural diversity in their plan of care, contributing to positive outcomes in patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate expertise in acute care nursing, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in cardiac services.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a current unencumbered South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License.
  • Obtain American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification upon hire, with ACLS certification required within six months of employment.
  • Graduate from a NLN-accredited school of nursing.
