Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Driver to join our team at Parallel. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our stores and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial cargo vans in a safe and proper manner
  • Load, transport, and deliver items to stores and distribution centers
  • Review and complete transport manifests before and after distributing items
  • Load and unload cargo from vehicles, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage or accidents
  • Track, account for, and maintain reporting on all items or cargo being transported
  • Maintain, clean, and report any safety or maintenance issues for assigned vehicles
  • Adhere to assigned routes, follow schedules, and abide by all transportation laws while maintaining a safe driving record
  • Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries, transportation, and distribution
Requirements
  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive for long periods and in heavy traffic
  • Strong time management and coworker relationship skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Some computer/technology skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Cannabis Industry
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a seated position inside the vehicle for extended periods
  • Ability to pick up heavy items to load onto vehicle
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend in repetitive motion
  • Able to move heavy totes, boxes, and other cargo in and out of vehicles and move into buildings
  • Frequently communicates accurately with other employees
