About the Role

We are seeking a Per Diem Facilities Custodian to join our team at Concern Housing. As a Per Diem Facilities Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors
  • Empty trash and recyclables from offices, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Clean bathroom fixtures, counters, and mirrors
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and equipment
  • Assist with minor maintenance repairs, such as changing light bulbs and filters
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Participate in major periodic cleaning tasks, such as washing windows and cleaning carpets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in a custodial or maintenance role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
