Job Overview

Relocation or sign-on bonus of $3,000 available for this position. RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated Float C-arm Imaging Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a C-arm in various modalities to capture diagnostic images of patients, ensuring that services are delivered to patients and referring specialists in accordance with professional standards across multiple locations.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekend rotations (no on-call duties). Part-time opportunities are also available, requiring 30-39 hours per week.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(80%) Patient Imaging

  • Conducts routine and advanced imaging procedures on specified body areas for use by healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patient conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluates patients prior to examinations for any precautions or contraindications related to the imaging process.
  • Communicates effectively with patients to explain procedures and positions them appropriately for optimal imaging.
  • Adjusts imaging parameters as necessary to ensure high-quality results.
  • Maintains a positive demeanor and fosters collaborative relationships with radiologists, referring professionals, and colleagues.
  • Engages in conversations with medical staff, patients, and their families as needed.
  • Adheres strictly to physician directives and complies with safety protocols to safeguard themselves, patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately documents patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keeps the work area organized and clean, promoting safety for patients and staff.

(15%) Imaging Support

  • Ensures imaging equipment is well-maintained and cleans and disinfects it after each use.
  • Participates actively in staff meetings to contribute to team discussions.
  • Assists in the upkeep of an updated radiographic protocol manual.
  • Supports the training of new team members by providing resources and technical guidance.

(5%) Additional Duties

Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
