Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computer diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
  • Efficiently repair and maintain vehicles, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Conduct DOT inspections and evaluate the performance of drive train components.
  • Repair and maintain vehicle bodies, including doors, landing gear, and other components.
  • Install, adjust, and align wheels and wheel components, including bearings and air brake and valve systems.
  • Diagnose and repair braking and valve systems, including air, electric, and hydraulic systems.
  • Adhere to strict safe working practices, company policies, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanical experience or training.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Current CDL and TWIC card a plus, may be required to travel.
  • Must have own tools and transportation, and be reliable and hardworking.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and physically able to handle large tools.
  • Must be able to climb on and off equipment, and ascend and descend a ladder.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, or crawl, and perform all essential job duties.
