System One Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all levels of preventive maintenance services, maintaining work area appearance and safety, and servicing customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
  • Inspect trucks to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Diagnose malfunctions or ensure that equipment is working properly.
  • Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Diesel Mechanic/Technician training not needed but is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • CDL a plus.
  • Truck mechanical aptitude.
  • Union Shop exposure a plus.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.
