Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed, while ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, using electronic health records and other documentation tools.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of California.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
