Position Overview:
The Professional Psychiatric Services division at Anew Era TMS is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes clinical excellence and the well-being of our patients. We are seeking a Lead Coordinator for Patient Care who is deeply committed to assisting individuals in their mental health journeys, bringing hope and healing to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise patient care coordinators to ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Conduct regular visits to multiple facilities for oversight and training purposes.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Director to identify and implement improvements in patient care.
- Facilitate weekly check-ins with care coordinators to prioritize tasks and assess workloads effectively.
- Manage care coordination across various service lines, including TMS, Esketamine, and Ketamine therapies.
Training and Development:
- Provide quarterly training sessions for the care coordination team to keep them informed of best practices and procedures.
- Conduct initial patient consultations to evaluate needs and educate patients on available treatment options.
Patient Interaction:
- Communicate treatment details and care plans to patients before and during their treatment.
- Engage in weekly discussions with clinicians to address patient needs and facilitate appropriate care pathways.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with standards.
- Manage patient information for insurance authorizations and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate patient care to enhance overall patient experience.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and patients to ensure seamless communication.
- Utilize electronic health records efficiently to manage patient information.
- Prepare clients for any financial obligations related to treatments.
