JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing efficient and personable service for guests, including beverage orders, service, and overall dining experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Greets and acknowledges guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
- Promptly offers beverage service and other amenities to guests.
- Provides alcohol service and collects payment.
- Provides attentive service throughout guests' meals graciously serving, and refilling beverages and condiments.
- Maintains area for cleanliness by promptly removing dishes, wiping off chairs, tables, and high/booster chairs, and resetting the table in a quick and timely manner.
- Checks out the bank and operates the cash register.
- Verifies check-in and cash register reconciliation, and prepares shift-end check-out and cash register reconciliation.
- Promptly accepts customer bills and payments, and processes cash, credit card, coupons, or comps.
- Maintains knowledge of current menu and/or specials and Wildhorse events.
- Displays and promotes a positive attitude and willingness to be a part of the team including assisting others as needed.
- Keeps shift manager and lead apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
- Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
- Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Cross trains and provides coverage to cashier/host(ess) as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Six (6) months of food service and customer service experience.
- Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
- Needs to stand and/or walk for long periods in a smoky environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 25 lbs.
- Effective communication skills - able to read, verbally able to provide instruction, responds to questions and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate AND an OLCC service permit within 30 days of employment.
- Requires a High-Security Gaming license clearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
