JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing efficient and personable service for guests, including beverage orders, service, and overall dining experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  2. Greets and acknowledges guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
  3. Promptly offers beverage service and other amenities to guests.
  4. Provides alcohol service and collects payment.
  5. Provides attentive service throughout guests' meals graciously serving, and refilling beverages and condiments.
  6. Maintains area for cleanliness by promptly removing dishes, wiping off chairs, tables, and high/booster chairs, and resetting the table in a quick and timely manner.
  7. Checks out the bank and operates the cash register.
  8. Verifies check-in and cash register reconciliation, and prepares shift-end check-out and cash register reconciliation.
  9. Promptly accepts customer bills and payments, and processes cash, credit card, coupons, or comps.
  10. Maintains knowledge of current menu and/or specials and Wildhorse events.
  11. Displays and promotes a positive attitude and willingness to be a part of the team including assisting others as needed.
  12. Keeps shift manager and lead apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
  13. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
  14. Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  15. Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  16. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  17. Cross trains and provides coverage to cashier/host(ess) as needed.
  18. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Six (6) months of food service and customer service experience.
  2. Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
  3. Needs to stand and/or walk for long periods in a smoky environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 25 lbs.
  4. Effective communication skills - able to read, verbally able to provide instruction, responds to questions and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  5. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate AND an OLCC service permit within 30 days of employment.
  7. Requires a High-Security Gaming license clearance.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
