Trauma Research Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled Trauma Research Nurse to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of an Associate's degree and approximately 2 years of relevant experience.

Job Summary:

The Trauma Research Nurse will be responsible for coordinating research projects related to trauma care, maintaining documentation, conducting informed consent, and assisting with participant selection and education.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate research projects related to trauma care using applicable management systems and processes.
  2. Maintain required documentation of study activity, including pending orders, case report forms, and regulatory forms.
  3. Conduct informed consent and provide education to study participants regarding trauma care protocols.
  4. Perform clinical procedures and assessments as needed, within the scope of practice.
  5. Assist with participant selection, education, testing, and monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
