Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist physicians in ensuring patient care meets established nursing standards and scope of practice.
- Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff, delegating tasks as appropriate to optimize patient care.
- Support clinic operations and deliver patient care that meets Meriter's values of safe, quality care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to recognize and respond to urgent needs in a timely manner.
- 1-3 years of healthcare experience working in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System.
- Telephone triage experience.
- Prior knowledge/experience working with regulatory standards (e.g. CMS, Joint Commission).
