Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Nurse - Med Surg / Telemetry to join our team. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and provide a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with Med Surg / Telemetry needs
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Nursing License in the state where working
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of 18 months – 2 years of recent clinical experience in the area in which you work
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
  • Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of the job description
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
