We are seeking a highly skilled Outside Property Claim Representative to join our team. As a key member of our claims organization, you will be responsible for handling first-party property claims of moderate severity and complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage, damages, and liability
- Conduct field inspections to assess damage and gather evidence
- Develop and negotiate claim settlements within authority limits
- Communicate with insureds, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve claims
- Manage claim files and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective claim resolution
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- General knowledge of estimating systems, such as Xactimate
- 2+ years of outside property claim handling experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
