About the Role

At Ulta Beauty, we're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Beauty Expert to join our team. As a Beauty Expert, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beauty experiences to our guests, providing personalized service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Engage Guests: Provide warm, prompt, and individualized service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Build Relationships: Interact with existing guests and maintain active contact with a growing preferred customer list, fostering strong relationships and driving loyalty.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Promotions and Events: Inform guests of current promotions, events, and services within the store, ensuring they stay informed and engaged.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and goals, driving business growth and success.
  • Deliver Expert Services: Conduct makeup applications, skin care analyses, and product demonstrations, showcasing your expertise and building trust with our guests.
  • Collaborate with Vendors: Maintain strong in-store and vendor relationships to reinforce trainings and in-store events/promotions, driving business growth and success.
  • Communicate Merchandising Needs: Communicate merchandising needs to the PSM, ensuring our store is always stocked and visually appealing.
  • Ensure Store Appearance: Ensure all merchandise, testers, and demonstration stations are well-maintained, creating a positive and inviting store environment.
  • Follow Loss Prevention Procedures: Follow all loss prevention control and compliance procedures, ensuring the security and integrity of our store.
  • Promote Loyalty Programs: Promote Ulta Beauty loyalty and guest service programs, driving loyalty and retention.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-4 years of prestige product line retail experience, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong guest relationships.
  • Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) with 3-4 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Appearance: Adhere to the Ulta Beauty dress code, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Sales and Service Competency: Demonstrated sales, product, and service competency, with a strong ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights and weekends, with a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
