Job Summary

AHS Vista LLC is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
    • Provide care as described in department policies and procedures.
  • Pharmacy Operations
    • Obtain correct medication and quantity for pharmacist review.
    • Filling orders and medication carts.
    • Consistently and accurately process prescriptions.
    • Maintain adequate stock according to established guidelines.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist customers at counter.
    • Enter orders.
    • Generate reports.
    • Answer telephones.
  • IV Medications
    • Accurately prepare all IV medications using appropriate sterile techniques.
    • Accurately prepare chemotherapy, IVPBs, and TPNs.
    • Deliver medications and IVs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a pharmacy technician by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
