Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Essential Responsibilities:- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform routine, emergent, portable, surgical, and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Image Processing: Understand and utilize the current RIS and PACS system, working under the supervision of a radiologist as needed.
- Patient Care: Provide patient registration, patient scheduling, and file work, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- On-Call Schedule: Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required, ensuring seamless coverage and patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- License and Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required.
- Basic Life Support: Obtain Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Diagnostic Equipment: Daily use of diagnostic equipment, imaging, and healthcare computer systems.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent customer-focused service skills and ability to communicate effectively with all personnel.
- Radiology Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of radiology equipment and exams to perform fluoroscopy, DXA, surgery, portable, and routine radiographic exams.
- Experience: Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
